A FLORIDA ENGAGEMENT AT BOK TOWER GARDENS
As photographers we are always looking for places to photograph our clients. After moving from North Carolina to our home state of Florida, our location radar has been turned into overdrive. Our clients, Jennifer + Justin, suggested Bok Tower Gardens for our session and naturally we immediately started browsing instagram to see what it was all about!
Our expectations for these hidden gardens were exceeded exponentially on our first visit for the session. Everywhere we walked there were so many variations of fresh blooms and foliage covering the grounds making the gardens a sight to see. We photographed each other waiting on Jennifer + Justin to arrive and everywhere we turned there was a picturesque landscape. In most sessions we arrive early to scout out 2-3 locations to take our couples. arriving almost an hour and a half early for this engagement session at Bok Tower Gardens, we found easily 10+ locations.
These gardens quickly became a favorite place to take our couples. The environment is rich with color and unique textures, yet subtle enough to be an accent to our couples personalities during an engagement session… we even found ourselves stopping in between locations!
Our favorite part was the hint of Florida tucked into each section of the gardens (palm trees/branches, peeking oranges, spanish moss, sunshine, etc.) like a secret escape from the world.
These gardens will no doubt be in a regular rotation with our couples.
